The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. (Acts 17:23)
God is the Creator and Lord of everything and everyone. He has no need of us to do anything. He alone, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the giver and by his grace believers and unbelievers alike enjoy these good gifts of life and breath and everything. This he does according to his own will and good pleasure and for his own glory.
